Research

Evan’s research focuses on the development and integration of bioelectronic interfaces for implantable therapeutic devices. He is part of the team developing BIOSYNC, an implantable chip designed to facilitate weight control through electronically controlled peptide release in captive cell wells. As part of the device electronics team, he contributes to the design and testing of the application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) responsible for device control, wireless communication, and power management. This includes efficient, low-power solutions for optogenetic and electrophysiological stimulation. In his free time, Evan enjoys reading speculative fiction novels and playing table tennis.
