Ronan McNally
Research
Ronan is a PhD student studying the intersection of electrical engineering, material science, and computational biology focusing on nanopore DNA sequencing. His research aims to design and integrate an electronics platform capable of high-bandwidth dynamical control with the gating electrodes in a superlattice nanopore to achieve sub-microsecond temporal resolution. Outside of his research, Ronan is passionate about hiking and cycling. On the weekends he enjoys cycling along the Hudson River and, when time permits, exploring the boroughs beyond Manhattan.
